During mating season (late autumn and winter) wolves become territorial and overall grumpy! It’s during this time that we can’t go into the wolf enclosures as volunteers at the wolf sanctuary, Wolf Watch UK. Bosch does however remain a tart when it comes to attention from women!

When my mother took singing lessons after a double lung transplant that extended her life, what she wanted to sing at her public recital was the Elements Song by Tom Lehrer. It took so much lifeforce and love from her to be able to do that. Thank you, Tom. And love you always, Ma.

Every summer my entire area gets this, what my kids and I call, “summer snow.” All the cottonwood trees release their seeds and fill the sky like this. It “snowed” on me while I gardened yesterday and it made me smile when I really needed it. So I thought I’d share the magic 🤍
