You know, I'm old enough to remember when Player's Choice and Nintendo Selects were $20 - $30 rereleases of popular first-party Nintendo (sometimes third party) games. So yes, I do think it's BS that half decade old games are still $60, maybe $40 on digital only sale once in a blue moon.

Just spent $51 to have groceries delivered because fuck me I hate being sick. But there are essentials I need that I'm definitely not going to drag my ass out of bed and be in a space filled with people that I could infect before Thanksgiving.

Alright, I caved and decided to go back to my character from last year's play through to tackle Dawnguard and Dragonborn for the first time since like... 2016. Plus it doubles as an excuse to see if the Switch 2 can brute force its way past the performance issues the AE update introduced.

It's that time of year where I get tempted to reinstall and replay Skyrim or Fallout 4. Games that are easily the worst in their respective series, but are so mindless and easy to lose time in they qualify as cozy games.

Okay maybe you can overwhelm Red Faction Guerrilla ReMarsTered playing on Switch 2 by causing a little *too much* destruction at once... Over had games hard crash on me before (Skyrim, cough cough) but never seen one just hang like this.

Red Faction Guerrilla came up in a video so, of course, I went and reinstalled the ReMarsTered version. I have it on PC but I heard it was one of those games that benefited majorly by playing on Switch 2 so I decided to go with that version. Wow, they weren't kidding, game is buttery smooth now.
