From my understanding, the Switch 2 Edition carts contain the Switch 1 versions of games with the 'Upgrade Packs' on cart, but will only execute the Switch 2 code if it detects it's being run on a Switch 2 system.

Saw this on my feed and thought it might be worth mentioning that Switch 2 Edition game carts (not key cards) will play the Switch 1 versions on the Switch family of systems, since no one here seems to be bringing it up!

Skyrim never ceases to amuse. Poor Dragon Priest was far more concerned with the threat it couldn't touch (a summoned Skeleton Champion who knocked him down in the first place) than the immediate threat... Me.

Anyways, very funny that I leave Riften and the first thing I encounter is a fucking dragon. Way to be entirely predictable, Skyrim.

Actually one of the funnier things about this character is that they have around 97 hours on them. My recent New Vegas complete playthrough finished off with around 115 hours, and I mean complete. That was with all expansions and even some mod associated quest lines.

Before I throw myself into one of the expansions I think I'll tie up some other quest lines I left unfinished. If only to refamiliarize myself with the character.

Forever and a day ago I was super into playing heavily modded Skyrim but now days I sort of can't be bothered to invest the time into that anymore. Used to always joke that playing on the Switch would be when I finally beat the main story and that ironically eventually turned out to be true.

Other things of note that I did; Actually built a homestead and finished furnishing it. Needed something to invest all the damn gold the game was throwing at me over time so I decided to finally give that a go.

This character's quirks were to do things I typically never do when I decide to dive back into Skyrim. Like being a Khajiit Summoner and actually beating MSQ... Yes, I have been playing this game since it launched, on PS3, but never bothered finishing the main story until late last year. Lol, lmao.

If I were to reinstall either it would probably be Skyrim, if only to go and replay the expansions for the first time in like a decade then peace out.

Like, I'm not going to do it. I did a pretty extensive replay of Skyrim last December and the opening hours of Fallout 4 are such a slog I typically lose interest before the game actually becomes somewhat enjoyable to play. But the urge is there...
