Emergency physician, public servant, and dad. Proudly serving California's 25th Congressional District.
Safe, reliable, and affordable energy isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity for everyone. That’s why, on the House Floor, I stood united against legislation that would only drive-up costs and make it harder for all of us to keep the lights on, cool our homes, and power our lives.

Reliable, high-speed internet isn’t a luxury anymore, it’s something we all need.

But for too long, many Tribal communities haven’t had dependable internet service.

Federal law still allows children to work long hours in dangerous farm conditions, protections far weaker than in any other industry. Children in farmworker communities deserve the same safety standards as every other child.

During #NativeAmericanHeritageMonth, I’m committed to honoring tribal nations by protecting their history and their right to govern themselves.

Watch for my committee remarks to learn more.

Trump’s flip-flop on the Epstein files was a desperate last-minute attempt to save face and distract from the fact that he was about to lose the vote.

I voted YES to release all of the files so we can finally bring the truth to light and deliver long-overdue justice for the victims of these crimes.

Catching up with some good friends who’ve served our nation and continue to give back to our veteran community! The DAV Coachella Valley Chapter works hard to help veterans and their families get the benefits they’ve earned. I’m grateful to work alongside advocates like them.

Providing reliable Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) funding, which helps families afford cooling and heating, isn’t about politics. It’s about keeping people safe.

I visited Renova Energy to highlight the importance of renewable energy and the jobs it is creating right here in the Coachella Valley!

Clean energy in our region strengthens our local economy and promotes a climate-friendly environment for us to live in. @renovaenergia.bsky.social

From the very start of the shutdown, I have fought to reopen the government, protect health care, and lower costs for working people.

It is my honor and privilege to present medals to Juan Carlos Lopez-Mendoza, who served in the U.S. Army, 1990-1993 and Glenn King, who served in the U.S. Navy, 1962-1968. These heroes served and sacrificed for our nation. Thank you for your service and commitment to the values of our country.

I’ve been working to open the government, protect healthcare, & keep ACA tax credits in place so our communities aren’t slammed with health care costs that could climb by up to $18,000 a year.

That is why I recently hosted a virtual resource fair to connect people with immediate support.
November 10, 2025 at 11:40 PM
Today, I spoke to folks at Renova Energy to emphasize the importance of the work they do & show my unwavering support for renewable energy efforts in our communities. I look forward to continuing our partnership in making California’s 25th district more climate-friendly. @renovaenergia.bsky.social

I joined Beaumont in a ribbon-cutting for the 2nd St Extension project that will relieve traffic during rush hour & train stoppages. This will make daily travel more reliable for everyone across the city.

I secured $1 million to support this project & proud to see it delivered for the Pass Area.
