Today, we honor our veterans for Veterans Day. But last night, Senate Republicans passed a spending bill that fails to extend the tax credits that help lower health costs for millions of Americans, including more than half a million veterans.

Spoke with a constituent from #LongBeach today — she told me that her health care premiums will rise from $383 to $999 per month. Hardworking Americans should not have to shell out nearly a thousand dollars a month out of pocket to pay for health care.

Donald Trump had to be forced kicking and screaming just to pay working Americans a portion of SNAP so that they don’t go hungry.

Organizations like the YMCA in #Wilmington work hard to keep our #CA44 families from going hungry.
It’s day 35 of the shutdown. SNAP ran out of funding on November 1st. As long as the government remains closed, Americans who need SNAP dollars to survive will not receive their full benefits.
