I'm appalled to see Trump betray the memory of President Kennedy and rename the Kennedy Center. It's illegal and I will do everything in my power to fight Trump and stop this selfish and egotistical move, including introducing legislation ASAP.
The Kennedy Center is a living memorial to a fallen president and named for President Kennedy by federal law. It can no sooner be renamed than can someone rename the Lincoln Memorial, no matter what anyone says.
Breaking news: The board of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts has voted to rename the storied arts institution the “Trump-Kennedy Center,” according to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.

Last night, I spoke on the House floor about the incredible cost our communities will pay without ACA tax credits. Since then, even some of my GOP colleagues have joined Democrats to force a vote on extending these essential subsidies.

I was pleased to attend Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz’s Chanukah celebration tonight! It was incredibly special to join national Jewish leaders and Members on Congress on the third night of Hanukkah, and I’m excited to celebrate with my daughter Summer, my son-in-law Nick, and my grandbaby Charlie.
