At this point most political parties could change their name to the "Satire Party," and it would make more sense.
It would also be a relief.

I'm a recent arrival at BlueSky, and one of my first "followers" started the "How are you doing?" DM thing, which I don't do.

Two days later that DM shows up as "account deleted."

Welcome back to the weirdness of social media 😂

Reminder to check your oil if you're road-tripping in an ICE vehicle this holiday weekend, especially if you drive a high consumption make like Volkswagen or Hyundai/Kia.
VW's oil consumption standard = up to 0.5 quarts per 600 miles or 0.5 liters per 1000 km. Kia's = almost 1 quart per 1,000 miles.

Automakers avoid defect recalls indirectly by voiding warranties due to "inadequate" owner maintenance and/or the use of an aftermarket service provider or non-OEM brand part.

Owners get stuck with mandatory arbitration.

The runaround can be the worst part.

I love my Ioniq, but I would never buy another Hyundai
Hyundai makes great cars -- when they work. Despite loving my Ioniq, the automaker's sketchy support has made me reluctant to buy another.

Critical to the "how" we make it better part.
I wish journalists would stop framing political news as wins or losses for politicians or political parties. It’s an abrogation of our mission. Why do we keep doing this? Is the spending bill a win or loss for the American people? Who does it help? Who does it hurt? Is it sound policy? Fiscally?

Jeff Goldblum repairs my heart, so this repost is still on brand 😍
To watch Jeff Goldblum move through the world is to witness that immutable movie-star magic incarnate as he kisses hands, asks questions and makes the days of strangers with solicitous eye contact. nyti.ms/4mys6kw

NEW: John Deere is costing American farmers $4.2 billion a year by restricting them from fixing their own tractors.

Apple, Amazon and major automakers use the same strategies on everything you own.

It's bad for you, but excellent for corporate profits.
