Did this amendment make it into the House reconciliation bill that just passed?

Congrats, Kashana! That's awesome 🔥

Right? Getting to know them changed my outlook on the circle of life. Literally. If only our road planners consulted with them in the design phase. Half the time, the vultures would be, like, that's not gonna work out for you, but we'll have a lot to eat...
Bird's eye view 😉

Thanks for the pic!
When I worked with vultures (long story), they had a surprisingly great sense of humor. Are yours comedians too?

Thank you for posting this.
Heads up: That bill also contains a significant new #FederalCarRegistrationandRenewalFee
$250 for #ElectricVehicles
$100 for #HybridVehicles
No age limit. Hybrid Vehicles go back to 1999. Old hybrids & Evs aren't "elite" transportation. Fee has annual increases.

Exactly. I work on #Right2Repair for passenger vehicles, and with every step closer to them becoming laptops on wheels, consumers not only lose their service options, but control over their personal (& highly valuable) user data.

When it happens in any industry, manufacturers get encouragement to do it everywhere. It's like trying to put out brush fires during a tornado.

Right on 👏

Thanks for posting. Did you notice the latest version of the bill still includes a separate definition of "covered motor vehicle" (applicable to ICE engine vehicles) between "covered electric vehicle" and "covered hybrid vehicle"? Wouldn't be surprised to see ICE cars reinserted before final RM.
