With election day upon us, I turn to the wonderful works of protest art created by Greg Schooley five years ago. The pandemic we face now is no longer COVID, but fascism. Let this serve as a reminder that the message is the same. VOTE smart, not cult!

Trump doesn't seem to see that some people are still immune to his threats.

Jack White criticized Trump's Oval Office decor. The White House then called White a "washed-up, has-been loser... masquerading as a real artist." And White, undeterred, posted an absolutely blistering takedown in response.

This is the contrast we should consistently make-

Trump pardoning white collar felons who pay him off, even as he arrests and deports hardworking immigrants without any criminal background.

In Trump’s America, wealthy criminals are pardoned, poor innocents are arrested
While ICE patrols court houses for law-abiding immigrants, Trump's friends get a free pass.

Due to construction in the fine arts building at @cmu.edu the percussion studio was moved near my office in the School of Music. Now my days are filled with me thinking I’m hearing the first four seconds of John Williams’ Olympics fanfare.

One more set for now, but lots more to come today. I just have so much fun creating these, it's difficult to know when to stop. I know that some of them may not be to scale as well, but I'm still really happy with how they turned out.

I try to incorporate the two elements the best that I can, placing characters in scenes that they seem to belong in. The one of Luke at Phantom Fright Nights is definitely one of my favorites, as is the Razor Crest (RIP) in the sinkhole.

New — I spoke to the school principal of Sackets Harbor, NY, where ICE handcuffed and disappeared a mother and 3 kids (including a 3rd grader). It’s also the town Trump Border Czar Tom Homan calls home.

Cook tells me about how the small town is taking on enormous power to bring the students home:
Try that in a small town

We know this administration is all about the cruelty. The censoring of artistic expression is an affront! The NEA requiring “certification” language is an affront. This applies to the entirety of an organization’s programming - not just the program seeking funding.
