New here: something to know about me. I believe in human rights for ALL people. We can have different opinions but the moment you deny anyone’s right to exist we no longer have anything to talk about. Otherwise hoping to connect with other fantasy nerd girlies (and guys) and find more community. 👋🏼

Oh thank god, as a Chicagoan I wasn’t surprised the cops didn’t immediately arrest him despite it clearly being assault (yes IL has castle doctrine, no this didn’t meet the standards for that) so I’m glad the woman involved filed a formal report. Hope she filed a complaint against the officers too.
Oh myyy. Nick Fuentes was just arrested for battery. He apparently maced a woman who had knocked on his door.

Are a specific type of Twitter user moving over here because they’ve simply run out people to bully because the people they want to bully left Twitter for Bluesky and threads? I’ve noticed a weird shift on both platforms and people targeting specific groups that moved intentionally to avoid that

It’s really disheartening to see trans users having to step back from Bluesky because of the influx of transphobic harassment. Trans posters built the culture of this platform and it would behoove cis allies to advocate for their safety as Bluesky expands and they get targeted

We are unfortunately prepping for my soul dog to cross the rainbow bridge probably sometime this week I’m crushed. He’s practically been my only support system during my 10 year chronic illness battle I’m not ready to say goodbye. He’s been so brave I just hope we’ve made him as happy as he made us
