Shipped out this awesome looking workstation desktop yesterday. I find it interesting that when presented with the pro and cons of liquid vs air cooling, clients are happy to go air cooled if it can still deliver their full CPU performance. Can't beat the reliability of an air cooler.

Finally got the Plugable Thunderbolt 4 dock (TBT-UDM) set up and running on my personal Samsung Book5 Pro 14". Next up, I’ll be testing it on the Asus Zephyrus G16 and the Eluktronics Hydroc16 G2, all laptops I resell. All part of my validation of this dock 😀

Replaced this motherboard under warranty. It went through a weather event; the building lost power and when power was restored, the system would not boot. No matter, a new motherboard was installed. System was fully stress tested and passed all test.

I feel grateful to build custom systems for architects and many other professionals in the AEC industry for the past 10 years. As a kid, I loved drawing homes so much my parents even thought I might become an architect one day. Life has a sense of humor sometimes!

For people in the computer hardware industry, it is no surprise there are GPU shortages. These builds were in 2022 and the 3090 video cards used in them were not easy to get then either, well 14 weren't easy to get at least lol Oh yeah, that is three 1600w power supplies in each build :) #render
