Trump says that he will withhold disaster relief aid from California unless it agrees to change the state’s election laws

This is insane. Can you imagine if President Biden had conditioned aid to North Carolina and Florida after Hurricane Helene only if they changed their state abortion laws?

If you have a problem with someone standing up to power and advocating for the oppressed to have mercy on them based off of the teaching of Jesus, then maybe it’s time to dump the religion. Because what are you even doing at this point.

I couldn’t care less about “illegal” immigration.

I don’t understand the need to tear families apart because “they weren’t born here” (or sometimes even when they WERE born here)

There’s more pressing issues to focus on. They just want to give their families a better life.

Americans like to pretend like we're the freest people in the world because we're allowed to have opinions, but have no real choices.

Hearing someone pray for God to protect people in a catastrophe is sad. You shouldn't need to beg your all-powerful and all-good god to spare your life.

The ENTIRE time Trump was running for president there were a ton of people in my comment section saying “no rights will be taken away from anyone, this is fearmongering”, yet here we are. It’s insane that some Christians believe they actually have a monopoly on marriage.

Telling children they are going to burn in hell for eternity if they don’t believe in your religion is child abuse. I’m tired of people skirting around this or pretending like it’s not.
