Interesting topic! mines cross disciplinary too so lit review is obscene (and not actually done- I keep finding more stuff & impossible to organize). So many disciplines- nature of science/curriculum, science museums/exhibit design; feminist science, access & inclusion...

Yes, but please don't assign the whole thing to students like they did to us. Its too long to absorb in a semester- and perhaps all that detail on every possible method is not necessary for an introduction. I think it would have been nice to have different takes from different authors as well.

It's exciting to contact somebody who has read her books, so I had to reply. I read the book several years ago, so I'm sorry I can't remember the details, but I remember enjoying it. Is there a reason you cannot re-read the book?

The article confuses two different uses of constructivism. Piaget is associated with constructivist LEARNING- where learners construct their own knowledge. Social Constructivism is an assumption that reality is socially constructed. Not the same thing. Sorry didn't finish it.

The initiatives are still there. I think the focus will be more on social justice, rather than identity and belonging. But, yeah, I was glad for the Way Back Machine.
