One of the hardest parts about writing a first draft is finding the motivation to write tens of thousands of words, most of which you know will be altered in some way at a later date.

You can know the point and purpose of a first draft all you want intellectually, but maaate...

Don't think I've posted any of these over here. 🤔
Check out one of my one-page steampunk RPGs. 😁

All you need is 1D6, a printer (or notebook), and a few minutes to enjoy yourself.

Have fun!

I've temporarily lowered the price of my chonky dark fantasy novel (600+ pages) to 99c!

It's got lots of magic, flying cars and sarcasm. There's two POVs (it's told in volumes). And the main couples are m/f and m/m.

Oh, and it was a BBNYA finalist! :D

Have I just nicknamed an incidental character 'Fast-Travel' with the sole intent of having a running gag where she just *appears* in places? Maybe. Who can say.

To hell with CrossFit, clean out an attic.

Literally just carrying heavy stuff up and down a ladder for a couple of hours a day.

That feeling when you've had a great idea for the opening of story... But no idea where to go from there because you've only got an idea for an opening and nothing else

I've never been great at the whole social media thing. Mostly because I wonder why on earth most people would want to know every thought I'm thinking, but I like the idea of getting to know more people and making more writer friends. So this year I'm going to be making a better effort at it all.

I'm 36 today.

Unrelated, can you have a midlife crisis if crisis is your standard state of being?
