Here we go, then!

‘Fresh from his heartfelt performance as Howard in Through It All Together – a moving tribute to football, family, and resilience – Reece will now step into the iconic role of Scrooge, bringing his trademark depth and northern grit to Dickens' timeless tale.’

Just back home after a wonderful evening at Leeds Playhouse watching a brilliant adaptation of Dicken's A Christmas Carol. The entire cast was fantastic throughout and Reece really made Scrooge his own. I doff my seasonal top hat to you @reecedinsdale.bsky.social and a merry christmas to all

Not me, I’m presently playing Scrooge. 🎄🎩
I’m good… but I’m not THAT good! 😄

I start directing Emmerdale the day I finish in January. 👍

@reecedinsdale.bsky.social Good morning Reece. For so many people Christmas is a very difficult time and sadly not one bringing happiness. This infographic might help someone-

Again -every word!
Ppl absolutely do overlook the fabulous career he's had & continues to have.
He doesn't shout about his achievements (let's his talent speak for itself) but isn't scared to speak out against injustice.
A grounded, decent and caring human.
What greater thing is there to aspire to 🤷🏻‍♀️

Indeed! Their honesty and decency shines through the lovely picture you posted. That you retained the values they inculcated in you is a triumph for you all. In a time of the depravity of Trump and Farage, people like you who are prepared to stand up for love, hope and comradeship are essential.

Thanks! I think people perhaps overlook just what a stellar career Reece has had in acting. There probably hasn't been a year since my teens when he hasn't been on TV in a sitcom or drama etc. That he has remained such a grounded, decent, and caring human being is truly a personal triumph.

It's a pleasure to be able give praise where it's genuinely deserved. The intoxicating effects of celebrity so easily lead to aloofness and arrogance. That you have resisted those vices and are willing to engage on social media with integrity, decency, and humility is very much appreciated.

Their pride in your success must have been off the scale. I recently commented to a friend that your career has been remarkably prolific, yet lived with modest integrity; I doubt there is a single day where you are not on Freeview somewhere. To many of us 60+ I thank you for being a familiar friend.

Great news and it deserves to win as well. The writing had such depth of emotion, which was exceptionally portrayed by you all. Plus, I don't think I've ever openly wept whilst watching a play before.

Two years to the day since my ma passed away.
She & my dad never missed a show I did in over 40 years, once travelling 10 hrs by train to see me in a lunchtime play!
They would have loved #AChristmasCarol so much.
These are the things that kill me.
Rest easy, you beauties! xx
