Texas hasn't received FEMA aid yet. The callous disregard from officials is shocking. I hope Texans remember this in 2026. Ultimately, it seems the priority is enriching the wealthy using funds collected from struggling individuals.

The Minnesota shooter apparently used data broker websites to find the home addresses of the people he shot and murdered.
Congress has had years to do something about data brokers and they've sided with the tech lobby over and over again.

Debating if its worth going to joann fabrics on my day off tomorrow for yarn. It's one of the ones shutting down so I don't know how good the sales will be or if I should go to the bigger city to one that's not shutting down (it will eventually because they were bought by a liquidator)

American insurance is a joke. I have private insurance through my employer (I work in the Healthcare field)... A visit to my primary care doctor to talk for 5 minutes about a dose increase i have been on for a month Is costing me $143.99 out of pocket.
