with my team it’s mostly down (!), but credit where it’s due, we have won our last 2 matches. it’s taken 3 months from the start of the season for it to happen, but i suppose i shouldn’t quibble…

this will always remind me of my uncle, a hippie from the 70s who never stopped listening to and getting excited about new music. he absolutely loved this song. i miss him so much, an absolute inspiration to me. rest in peace Alan x

the mid section that drops out with harmonies, building back up is so joyful. true story: i met Stewart Copeland in an Indian restaurant in London’s East End 6 months ago. i went up to his table, shook his hand and told him he was one of the greatest drummers that ever lived. he seemed underwhelmed!
