This. Especially Senate Republicans.
The greatest political scandal today is not what Trump is doing. It is the fact that congressional Republicans have given up their role in the constitutional system as a check on the executive branch. If we are in a constitutional crisis, it is as much on Mike Johnson and John Thune as anyone else.

So, let's go over this whole $9 million Reuters thing:

-- it was first awarded UNDER TRUMP

-- it wasn't paid to the news agency but rather an entirely different Reuters division that does data analysis

But, really why *are* Elon Musk and his Silicon Valley buddies targeting Treasury payment systems?

We don’t know…because there is ZERO GOVERNMENT OVERSIGHT on DOGE. House Republicans are still shielding Musk from accountability. We are fighting back!

Civil servants do everything they can to assist fellow citizens and improve their country day in and day out, often doing so much more than asked of them. We can, and should, find ways to improve our government without denigrating the service of others.
