Every year on Memorial Day, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring.
They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died.

Arresting elected political opponents for made up charges is a gateway to arresting U.S. Citizens for the same. International Law calls this Enforced Disappearances and in other dictatorships it has led to the suffering of thousands of Moms who will never bury their child. No body, no crime.

Anecdotal, but I'm definitely noticing an uptick in advocacy for violence here. About which I'll say only this: Promoting violence on social media is the work of trolls and fools, those eager to bait others into implicating themselves in the age of surveillance or fools rushing to the gulag.

The State House of Representatives passed legislation to prevent the National Guard from other states from entering Washington without our permission.
