As a person with no A-levels or degree & no GCSEs at higher than C grade, it's easy for me to say I had a crap education. But that's not fully true. My primary school was GREAT. A magical, unshackled, multicultural hub of imaginative life. I wrote about it here:

It’s come to my attention that quite a lot of people don’t know I published a novel earlier this year (my second). It’s quite silly but a tiny bit serious too, and is about - amongst other subjects - the East Midlands, aliens, childhood, mining, education and alpacas. I had great fun writing it.

Authors receive a payment every time you borrow a book, audiobook or ebook from libraries in 35 countries. Those countries include the UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Germany to name but a few. Borrowing a book helps the author’s pocket as well as yours.
