I believe you about that, but I would be surprised if it's as easy to get cheap or free 64 bit PCs in here. Especially after my region got hit by massive floods last year, and people lost so much stuff. That said, Debian with LXDE is running actually fine! I'l try some other environments too.

...pinned at 100% load all the time, making the experience painfully slow and tedious, is too much, then so be it. I've seen people saying to convert these old machines into retro gaming emulators or something like that, but I got no clue where to start with that. I'm open for other suggestions! 4/4

I'd like to donate this PC to a school in need, since we have public schools here which lack computing classes because they don't have any PCs to begin with. I have no clue what this ran previously, but I ain't gonna bother trying to run Windows. If it's bad to let alone boot from a USB drive... 2/4
