Political Violence & Gun Violence are Never OK. Kirk’s murder was a tragedy. His family deserves compassion. But Congress’s rush to give him a national day & statues — while ignoring Sandy Hook, Parkland, Pulse, Buffalo, Charleston, Tulsa, Floyd, and so many others — isn’t remembrance. It’s power.
