After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like.
I think everyone needs to step back and realize how much and often bad actors try to influence people through fear and anger.
Scammers for years try to get people in their fight or flight response so they are less logical and easier to influence. All of us are entitled to our feelings...

Promos are more harm than good for games, especially if they are very limited based on convention attendance. I am tired of being a fan of a franchise, game, or developer and have them pull this crap.

@scalzi.com Really enjoyed WTMHYE. I have to say the book would feel incomplete if it did not have its aftermath for the final chapters in equal measure for both arguments. It really is the challenge moving forward now. I doubt we will ever have shared emergencies without this debate unfortunately.
