I came across this online and it made me smile:

“If people don’t like you, it’s okay. You only need to be concerned when dogs don’t like you—then it’s time for some reflection.”

Poppy approves of me, so I must be doing something right 🐾♥️

🚲I’m thinking of getting an electric bike in Oxford—any recommendations? Ideally somewhere local with helpful staff, a chance to test ride, and good options for everyday commuting or carrying stuff. Would love to support an independent shop if possible!

I supported the hardworking #carers who came to the social care rally at Parliament; government needs to urgently reform care, scrap the jobs tax on care providers, & complete the social care review within a year.
Carers need to be given the support they need & deserve. #socialcare #ProvidersUnite

A challenge to Oxfordshire Labour:

Bring forward proposals to February's county council meeting to scrap the traffic filters.

There's now a majority of councillors against the scheme, and you can over-rule the current council leadership.

Feel free to use this suggested wording (minus the typo!)

Yes, it's time to change the way Oxfordshire is governed. Vote for the @ind-ox-alliance.bsky.social at County Council elections to sort out the congestion issues and bring fresh perspectives to our community. Let's make a change for the better! #Oxford #Oxfordshire
If the County Council elections go ahead, then come May whatever Oxon Labour thinks will most likely be pretty much irrelevant anyway.
