One thing that helped me is giving myself permission to be unhappy about a crash even if I was expecting it. It’s OK to feel the way you feel about it. I think that part will get a bit easier with time.

Yes and no. I got better at figuring out how to do some activities safely (breaking them into subtasks and resting in between, using assistive devices, etc) and recognizing what is likely to cause PEM. I learned to feel less guilty about needing more rest than abled ppl (still working on that) 1/2
