Today I consulted the piece of paper I carry in my planner that is labeled “in case of ICE” bc there were reports of them on foot in our campus.
It seems to have been a false alarm, thankfully.
There was a time when I could teach classes and not worry about my students being kidnapped.

Just a totally normal day donating money to a Gofundme for a local family to get an immigration lawyer bc yesterday the father got kidnapped by ICE as he dropped his kids off at elementary school.
