Political scientists know how to measure the quality of democracies. Unquestionably, 'Accepting election loss' is more fundamental to the quality of a state than civil liberties, which have nuances and conditions.

Also punishing the insurrectionists isn't censorship. It's law enforcement.

I'm a literal journalist who has lived through a lot of history.

The way you "send a message" is through organizing, protesting, voting in primaries, advocating, donating, not donating, etc.

What you do on presidential-election day is CHOOSE WHO WILL BE IN POWER. It's not for messaging.
