The coalition behind this victory was a 2-year effort. The candidates were stellar at blockwalking, showing up to meet with voters, and communicating clear priorities. Grassroots work the whole way.

1) I saw this opening weekend in a theater in 1987. Went with new freshman dorm friends from college. Loved it. This movie became so popular - back when smaller films could slow burn and find an audience thru word of mouth.
