That’s how it was set up but the women usually brought their specialty dish or brought food to be cooked. Some would bring wine. It was fun. I’m talking at least 100 people at the peak of the reunions. Friends of family included. Good times
Our family has grown way too big to do all of that now. We also didn’t relegate only the women to cooking lol
When we was having our family reunions the rules were: every man brings a 5th or 30pack, every woman brings a dish. It was lit. The house is in the cut so plenty of parking space and no neighbors. It was a 2 day thing so some would bring tents.

Im on the family reunion planning committee & $50 for adults/$35 for kids in TODAYS ECONOMY is decent. I wonder where people think the money comes from. Like, even if you’re going to the park to grill you gotta pay for a permit lol. Bet if he told what all is included it’d be a steal 😂
