Today would have been my mother's 50th birthday. She passed away five years ago and I miss her every day. Someday I hope to write a book about her life, how every system in our society but especially Healthcare failed her, and how I'm just trying to move forward without her as her living legacy.

I love that the “party of accountability” always seems genuinely shocked that their actions have consequences or that they are judged for what they say and do. Like ya’ll, that’s literally what accountability means. I know most repubs are illiterate but come on.
