a (female) friend once pitched an idea in a writers’ room and it was basically ignored. two minutes later, zaltz pitched it verbatim. the producer responded positively and Zaltz said “thanks, actually [female comedian] said that two minutes ago, but maybe you didn’t hear it though the estrogen”.
