Everyone who tried to have it both ways, who equivocated, who didn't stand up for a literal genocide from the start helped set the stage for a moment where our collective shrug could be turned back against us back home

I'm sick of the rhetoric and orientation, so common in the online left, of counselling a paralysing self-care (good intentions or not; yes, some people are more vulnerable). We don't need everyone tending to their gardens when their gardens are being paved over. We need people to be brave!
