matriarchal not matrimarchal.

It is possible to have matriarchal traditions and patriarchal traditions in the same country. In my observation, patriarchal models tend to be authoritarian whereas matrirmarchal models are more interested in collaboration and thinking and coming to solutions together.

Goettner-Abendroth writes about this misinterpretation of matriarchy as women in power and so it must mean that men have no power in society. But, matriarchy considers the different roles of each individual. It is actually more egalitarian and inclusive than we are led to believe.

That’s what it made me think about. I think allowing people to work and pay a share towards shelter is better than this wrongheaded proposal. Jewelry often has a value beyond the financial.

This is a horrific proposal.
