I love them but I do think that flick screen dungeon crawlers mostly stopped getting made for a reason.

It's quite difficult for UK newspaper journalists to offer a useful take about their industry when circling the wagons is as automatic to them as breathing

The social construction of economic "value" has never been clearer to me (for better and worse). So much cutting-edge digital game dev work today is happening outside the paradigm of "distribute an exe on Steam"... mods, fan games, ORGs, weird web experiments, IF, alt ctrl, game jams, etc.
