There was once a baseball team known as the Hannibal Cannibals. I cannot confirm that Anthony Hopkins was their starting pitcher, but he should have been.

Eventually he’s come around to “OK, let’s just give everyone enough money to survive and they’ll stop bothering me. Heck, they might even let me be President again."

And MAGA (yeah, I’m looking at you, Marc A. Thiessen) will fall all over themselves explaining how this ISN'T SOCIALISM — REALLY.
Trump: "I want the money to go into an account for people where they buy their own health insurance. It's so good. The insurance will be better. It'll cost less. Everybody is gonna be happy. They're gonna feel like entrepreneurs. They're actually able to go out & negotiate their own insurance"

This poll from last May ranked Lance Liepold (KU) at 15 and Curt Cignetti (IU!!!) at 21. Cignetti got to the playoffs. Liepold — didn’t a bowl game.

This year: Cignetti is 10-0 ranked #2.

Liepold is 5-5 and might not get a bowl bid. Again.

So if I read this correctly, the Supremes should cave because otherwise he’ll think of something worse.

I mean, I love seeing the Cowboys get beat, too, but somehow watching the Raiders get beat is better.

Well this blew up, at least by my standards, so in the time honored tradition of the old place I going to ask you to do something:

Get every friend you've got and make sure they’re registered to vote. If they’re not, help them get registered. It’s only 363 days to the next general election.
If you live in a red state and the Democrats aren’t running a candidate for your state’s legislature next year, start campaigning for that seat — you have a good chance of winning.
