Not for the first time, I am reminded that I wouldn't trust anyone in the Trump WH other than Rubio with secure information. Including Trump. And Rubio would still need supervision. Just massive incompetence that will take decades to repair.
What a shit show. Everyone could see this plan was written by the Kremlin. Adopted by Witkoff and Trump who demanded Ukraine accept it by this Thursday. After a firestorm of objections by Europe and Republican senators it appears Rubio wants to distance himself from it.

Set aside how he's stanning MTG because of course he is, this is a popular notion about the Founders and it's a complete myth. Objectively, most were "career politicians" who spent decades near-continuously in public office of one sort or another. Nor did they think that was wrong or a bad thing.
