We’re seeing a lot of the same dynamic nationally that happened here in MN post-George Floyd murder. The mass outcry across the world led to justice promised- then in time that was consciously morphed into a lot of toothless “reforms” that were easily ignored. Defund became extra-fund! (as you know)

To make ice luminaries you put a smaller weighted but empty bucket inside a bigger bucket partly filled with water and let it freeze. Then you take the smaller bucket out and put a candle in and the ice shields it from the wind. It’s a lot of work to make and place so many! But beautiful.
