When our daughter was born, she couldn’t swallow and was in the ICU, but insurance cos. pushed new moms out of the hospital in 24 hrs.

That inspired me to get involved in politics to allow new moms longer stays. Thanks to Governor Beshear for having me on to share my “why.”

2025 Easter Celebration at the Capitol!

Kentucky families are invited to an Easter celebration on Sunday, April 13, at 2 p.m. on the South Lawn of the Capitol. The event will include family activities such as an Easter egg hunt, games, crafts, food trucks, and an Easter Bunny visit.
