My short story, “Another Country”, is set on January 6 (Old Christmas/Day of Epiphany) and is a modern Appalachian retelling of Joyce’s “The Dead”. I hope you’ll have time to read it as the Twelve Days of Christmas come to an end.

I abhor ALL violence. No one deserves to be shot for their opinions, no matter how reprehensible.
I just wish we lived in a country where our elected GOP reps publicly mourned for murdered schoolchildren as passionately as they do for a person who devoted his life to division and vitriol.
