For many in Gaza, the psychological toll of seeing their children go hungry is far worse than the physical exhaustion they feel from malnutrition and scavenging for food.

"Night Witches" was a World War II nickname given to the female aviators of the Soviet 588th Night Bomber Regiment, by the Nazis. Nachthexen? Very cool.

we’ve created a media model that is incapable of understanding solidarity and like, basic humanity. I can’t tell you how many times migrants have expressed concern for Palestine or Sudan to me despite not being from there and going through hardship themselves. It’s really not that complicated
Oh yeah nice one kid hook that hope for humanity right into my veins

Driving in London is such a ball ache. Nothing tires me out more than enduring a 55min drive, for a 3 mile journey, with 20mph roads slapped across the lot of it.

This article would have served the Kurdish women in the piece better if they weren’t mislabeled as ‘Syrian’ It's still a worthwhile read if you can overlook the identity mishap, and it's fantastic to see Orhan’s photos included.

Gorgeous thread by Sham 🫶🏼
There’s something radical about Kurdish dance—Halperke—a simple, rhythmic expression that has the power to bring people together in the most unpretentious way. It’s a dance that asks for so little yet gives so much in return: a moment of connection, of belonging, of shared joy.

Anyone with half a brain cell watched this story unfold with a massive side-eye. It was abnormally unethical and overdone.
BREAKING: CNN has now CONFIRMED that the freed “prisoner” in their report was NOT an ordinary citizen as reported and as he claimed.

As local Syrian sources were saying, he was indeed an Assad intelligence officer who faked his story with CNN.
