I don’t know, I just don’t think we should be making decisions with geopolitical implications that could result in millions of deaths and catastrophic damage based on a passage in Genesis.

The States have broad authority to enact legislation for the public good—what we have often called a 'police power.' The Fed. Gov., by contrast, has no such authority."-SCOTUS '14

Behind Trump's unprecedented actions is the unitary executive theory, a once-fringe legal idea that asserts that the president has unlimited power to control the actions of the four million people who make up the executive branch.

In 2013, Trump tweeted that he wanted to be best friends with Putin. Nothing that happened today is a surprise. Trump has been looking to be Putin‘s wing man for a dozen years. This afternoon, he demonstrated his love for that tyrannical thug.

I've no idea why Trump is being treated as an appropriate broker at all.

If this peace negotiation were serious, it would treat Trump as an intermediary of Putin and allow the EU to act as the intermediary for Ukraine.

It's a farce that anyone in the international community treats Trump otherwise.

This negotiation between the US and Russia, and cutting out Ukraine, is just like when Trump cut out Afghanistan and negotiated with Taliban.

We see how that “good deal” turned out. Afghanistan was on Trump

Correct. This is a President of the United States declaring himself a dictator.

And instead of Americans understanding that we’re now under imminent threat of martial law and tyranny, we’ll get a month of think pieces about what the President of the United States meant by his UNAMBIGUOUS statement.
This is fascism.
