Please just make a good 3d platformer with a reasonable budget that is fun and well designed and has a beginning and an end and isn't 100 hours long or riddled with microtransactions or content roadmaps or cost 500 billion to make for some reason

But "AAA". From Ubisoft. Saying AAA isn't always a red flag, except when it's ubisoft saying it, and then it's ALWAYS a red flag. What are they gonna be doing with it? What justifies AAA production scope for a mascot platformer?

the part I gotta wrap my brain around is that learning the language and completing the duo course are two separate and *increasingly distinct* entities, and one's an actually worthwhile time investment & achievement and the other is gamification to make it just feel like it is

gotta be honest the current feelings are kinda bad! big part of me really wants to finish the course and keep the streak alive, if for nothing else than to prove I could. that was one of my Big Goals for the next year or two so killing it even for good reasons feels miserable. but hey ho. onwards.
