This needs more coverage because it isn’t just the cuts to Medicaid and SNAP.
This is what an authoritarian regime would do. Hidden deep in Trump’s 1,100-page bill that passed the House today is a provision that would block federal courts from enforcing contempt charges against government officials who violate court orders.

I can tell the truth about what’s happening, my first reaction is that it’s a wound in my heart. I am wounded. I feel wounded. The level of irrational and pathological behavior of those in power, the incompetence, the sheer arrogance, the disregard for law, rights, the Constitution: heartbreaking.

According to a source I have at the CIA, Director Radcliffe lied today under oath. Signal is absolutely not loaded on agency computers. As a matter of fact it’s specifically prohibited as an outside app. Skype is allowed for conference calls but not Signal. He’s lying. @markwarner.bsky.social
