Not full gibber then, merely something that's gibber-ish.

The first MATRIX movie still holds up on repeat viewings & is incredible on so many levels. WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT? is fantastic. So is MULHOLLAND DRIVE (& anything by Lynch). I also have a soft spot for Jim Jarmusch's slow & quirky vampire film ONLY LOVERS LEFT ALIVE. I'm curious if you've seen it

Religious values & beliefs, & the attendant metaphysical commitments or presuppositions thereof are all up inside all of our tech, & the questions we should be asking ourselves are "whose values & beliefs" & "what does their being woven in through our technosocial reality then do to the rest of us."
Remember: Tech & Religion have *Always* influenced each other. In the West, they used to be explicitly the same thing; elsewhere in the world, they still are. Accepting & learning to parse those motivating values better equips us to understand— & counter— their resulting sociotechnical developments.

That whole section is deranged. Am I suddenly reading Gene Wolfe? Saint Augustine? Warhammer 40k fan fiction?

Reminds me of the Estonian palindromic compund noun "Kuulilennuteetunneliluuk", roughly translated as "The hatch of the tunnel through which the bullet flies"

I'm beyond excited! 🚀 I feel this is a book that the world really needs right now. (I really hope Roger Zelazny gets a few mentions too.)
