Felling burnout like an invisible beast is always strange because, well, it feels like I’m achieving new heights and then it’s actually just banal and not something worth mentioning at all. Odd.

I learned something today. Very much regretting some conversations I had and words I chose to use.
When a disabled person tells you they can't do something anymore, it's not helpful or kind to reassure them that yes, they can, just not like they used to.
And when they try to explain how they cannot, it's downright cruel to argue with them.

When I was a kid (not even joking) I swore I was going to make sure I died when I hit 40
Now that’s a long-ish way to go still, but it’s so bizarre to think at this age. Why 40? I’m not sure. But that belief is ingrained in me and it’s equally ridiculous and odd.

When I was a kid (not even joking) I swore I was going to make sure I died when I hit 40

Because I like to think the idle 5 card lodgings that aren’t people’s (well, mine, anyway) primary residences are perpetually left in a state of turmoil. Piled to the ceiling with idk, things you never touch, can’t sell & have around for no reason (now possibly less so due to agents) #fallenlondon
