The kids are not, in fact, alright

Say all this to say, now that we know they don’t know what the heck they’re doing, and we’re seeing multiple fault lines and factions among the capitalist class we have to be smart about understanding what’s happening, find the wedges to drive change, & communicate to people they *must* take charge.

Another free idea for library friends: organize a historical walking tour of your neighborhood. You can include the history of your library system and how it was founded/funded in the walk. Collect donations from attendees and end at a cafe/bar that donates $1 for each drink sold to the library.

There are basically two groups of students being deported:
a) those who have engaged in political speech, which has gotten the most attention;
b) those who have had minor infractions with the law like a speeding ticket, which is likely the larger group.
