Link i kommentar nedenfor

So Olmert’s an anti-Semite - at least according to the brazenly distorted definition of that word, which has been weaponized across the world to crush freedom of speech for a year and half (and before that).

VELKOMMEN TIL RESTEN AF VERDEN, DANMARK

På prime time amerikansk tv siger Fox værten Watters: “We don't need friends. If we have to burn down a few bridges with Denmark to take Greenland. We’re big boys. We dropped a-bombs on Japan and now they are our ally… America is not handcuffed by history.”

The problem with the fascist Trump regime and its envoys is that they don't really care about stuff like Geneva Conventions or international norms and standards ushered in by the Pax Americana. So how do we even condemn them if they don't exist in the same universe?
These men behind bars are not in prison after being charged with crimes. They are "enemy combatants" being detained in a concentration camp.

As such, Kristi Noem's crass photo-op using them as props violates the Geneva Convention's prohibition of ‘exposure to public curiosity’ of those captured.

NYC friends: I think this one’s worth it, even if you’re not much of a protester. The case seems very specific & individual, I know. But Trump’s seizure of this lawful resident—& celebration of it, w/ promise of more arrests to come—may well be a rubicon.

Absolutely horrifying how freedom of speech and academic freedom is under massive assault in the US right now. Like it has been for some time across Europe.
