Saw the Instagram post. Hard not to think people are doing this now to film it and gain kudos in what ever little sick online group chats or platforms they live in. So disgusting in. Saw a similar more minor incident in Dublin recently - the kids were filming their racist abuse with pride and glee.

I think Polands system of 100k registered voters making a nomination is interesting. I realise people might think it’s too low a bar. However remember, McGregor couldn’t even get more than 16k people to sign an online petition amidst all the Musk astroturfing. So could be a hard measure.

Genuinely ended up feeling sorry for her by the end of it. Absolutely pulled out of her comfort zone and thrust into the spotlight. Clearly someone not at ease with the “great unwashed.”
