I recommend setting the squash outside on a stump and using a sword or a battle axe.

Fun fact! When Cassidy Greene mentions that you wouldn’t see a Roman numeral of ‘IIII’, he’s only partially correct.
Mathematically, ‘IV’ is correct for the number 4, however there are plenty of examples of military units using IIII, such as Legio IIII Flavia Felix. 🤓
