For John Cena's retirement post-show, I will match the superchats, humperchats and sponsor money we get and will purchase sweaters that we will be donating.

We are going to raise money so we can provide the next man's sweater.

I’m sorry for the long post but a lot of you have followed me for a long time, since 2016 when I was one of the first to repeatedly call out Trump for being a Russian asset.

I don’t know how else to say this, as a person who has studied cults (wrote a bestseller about it) and totalitarian states.

Last grad program came through. Now, if I can scrounge up the funds to pay for it, I'll be starting that in the Fall

New job acquired. Only problem now is that old job pays through the end of the month and new job starts pay in August.

I was not ready to handle a month without paying, and two months without health insurance 😒

Second grad program decision was just like the first. Another rejection 😣

Welp, back into the job market I go 😞

My school decided not to rent my contract for the next school year. I hate this so much

First grad program decision came in today. And it was a rejection notice 😓

One full application is waiting for references to be submitted. Now to scrounge up $90 for the second one. I still hate application fees and transcript fees 😖

First grad school application has been submitted. Two more to go once my next pay comes in. It sucks that you have to pay to apply to colleges 😠

You know, it's strange that since the inauguration I've been getting a lot more spam calls. Like, seriously. From the start of December to Jan 20 I got 8. In the past 3 weeks it's been 12. Ugh

Because I feel the need, here are my three cats. I love them so much. The grey ones are siblings named Blue (white chest) and Scarlet (they are natural nebelungs) just shy of 5 years old. The calico is the old girl Samantha at anywhere between 11 and 15

Gonna be submitting three applications for grad programs this week. It's been almost 20 years since I've had to do this

With the climate of the country as it is, I find myself at a weird place. I've been a teacher for almost a decade, and I've realized that what my calling is isn't so much classroom teaching (not that I don't enjoy it). It is to make education and schools a true place that serves all students.

To anyone out there that wants to continue their education, but finds higher ed to be expensive. MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), as well as some other colleges, have websites that have lectures, videos, coursework, etc. for many of their classes that are free

ocw.mit.edu
MIT OpenCourseWare | Free Online Course Materials
MIT OpenCourseWare is a web based publication of virtually all MIT course content. OCW is open and available to the world and is a permanent MIT activity
